Organization

Issues raised after delivery of the vessel to the owner will be dealt by "Warranty Management Department". Warranty Management Department will be the communication channel between owners and organizations in the company. It serves to help manufacturers to set up a service appointments accordingly whenever services are required for a vessel.

Services during Warranty Period

Employment of Guarantee Engineer

According to detailed condition of the contract, a warranty engineer from the company may be assigned to perform onboard services during the warranty period after delivery of the vessel.
The warranty engineer will be a representative of the company who and will assist the vessel's staff in correcting any problems which may occur onboard. He could also take actions by himself or in conjunction with Ship Assurance Team to apply necessary repairs.

Warranty Repair

When repairs are required onboard the vessel during the warranty period, following services will be provided ;
- Necessary spare parts will be supplied.
- Specialists from the company or the manufacturer will perform repairs on-site or at the shipyard.
- Riding squad will be sent to carry out the repairs during voyage.
- Local repair facilities will be utilized whenever deemed necessary.

Services beyond Warranty

Preventive Check-Up Service

After delivery of the vessel during warranty period, the company will delegate, a service team who will conduct a preventive check-ups over major systems of the vessel with a consent from the owner even when no failures were reported. This service is provided in order to enhance defect-free and safe operation of the vessel as a preventive measure against potential system failure.
Such preventive service may be offered even after the warranty period has expired.

Circulation of Precautionary Service Memo

The company will circulate a precautionary service memo, which highlights failures onboard other vessels as needed. The instructions on what/how to will be given to avoid similar failures onboard the vessel.

Logistic Support

Equipment List, being a part of the delivery documents to the vessel, enables the owner to contact any supplier directly. However the company is prepared to contact the relevant manufacturer for timely supply of the spares required for maintenance of the vessel upon request by the owner.
