Build a Plant

We have the only facility in the world to build a large-scale plant substructure of
120 meters in width along the systematic ship building production line.

  1. 1st Process
    Engineering & Design

The process of designing the facility composition, shape, and detailed building plans after the offshore plant’s shape is determined according to the offshore oil field’s water level, climate, and resource reserves underwater.
In the detailed design stage, various factors, such as the plant’s size, facility composition, performance, and machinery specifications, are determined according to the crude oil or natural gas reserves.

We have around 500 specialized offshore plant designers, which allows us to carry out detailed design and production design together. We also reflect the customer’s needs and production requirements in advance through design stage simulations.

  2. 2nd Process
    Steel Cutting

The process of cutting steel plates as designed
The steel plates are coated with anti-rust paint and then sent into the cutting plant on a conveyor.

Here, based on the design information transmitted to the computer, a fully automatic cutting machine cuts steel plates according to the plan. Each cut steel plate is given a number and sorted by product type before being transferred for the assembly process.

  3. 3rd Process
    Assembly

The process of constructing the deck where offshore facilities for the production of crude oil and natural gas will be installed The main girder and left and right frames are attached to the steel plate. The main pillars and stiffeners are installed as well.

The finished deck is loaded on a transporter and transferred to the assembly site outside the plant.

  4. 4th Process
    Pre-outfitting

The process of pre-installing outfitting items such as pipes, cables, etc. that go under the deck while having the deck upside-down

Working while having the deck upside-down allows the workers to look down and do their jobs comfortably, increasing production efficiency and accuracy.

In addition, we ensure excellent quality with our unique outfitting technology, in which we sort the components by zone and inspect each of them.

  5. 5th Process
    Painting

The process of loading the finished deck module on a transporter and transferring it to the painting factory to get it painted

We polish the surfaces of seam welds and connections with blasting and apply eco-friendly paint that is highly corrosion-resistant and harmless to the human body, Which can significantly increase the deck module’s life.

  6. 6th Process
    Hinge Turnover

The process of fixing one side of the painted deck module with hinges and lifting the other side with a crane to flip it over at once.

If the deck weighs 400 tons or lighter, the crawler crane at the plant assembly site is used. If it weighs over 400 tons, the Goliath crane is used.

  7. 7th Process
    Fabrication of
    Machinery

The process of erecting and installing the bundle of machinery required for drilling and production, such as compressors and generators on the deck.

We separately manufacture the deck modules in sizes appropriate for crawler or floating cranes and erect them one by one.

  8. 8th Process
    Complete Erection

The process of erecting and assembling the deck modules into one complete structure.

After connecting the split modules using goliath crane or floating crane, remaining outfitting work is proceeded.

  9. 9th Process
    Test Operation & Delivery

The process of test-operating each piece of equipment and performing a sea trial in the presence of the client and classification personnel

This is the stage where we operate various equipment, including the dynamic positioning system, drilling equipment, facilities for production, compression, processing, and unloading, and test the entire process in accordance with actual on-the-sea situations.

After the trial, the offshore plant is delivered to the client at the yard or the local installation site according to the terms of the contract. To ensure the quality, we provide a one-year warranty after the delivery of the maritime facility.
