Recognition from Authoritative Organizations
R&D Institute operates a variety of tanks that can conduct experiments on ships at sea with models that are reduced to the same shape as actual ships, and analyze and test the target's acoustic characteristics using sound waves.
R&D Institute is the only ISO/IEC 1702 certified research institute in the domestic shipbuilding industry and has received numerous awards and commendations from various government agencies and prestigious institutions as the nation's leading maritime R&D institution.
